Imagine the hurricane created by the flapping wings of the butterfly in South America because of perfectly hitting a non-linear dynamical system.

Now imagine another non-linear dynamical system with the requisite feedback loops.

That is bats. Bats synched together, all flapping their mouths swarming out of the batshit crazy dark cave of the demented. The MAGA bats.

Jim Sanders: In both the Air Force (uniformed service, Reserves, Judge Advocate) and the Navy (civilian, Office of General Counsel), I counseled meteorologists, including the Hurricane Trackers of the 403rd Wing, USAF.

The "hurricane created by the flapping wings of the butterfly" was a point of speculation. Storms off of West Africa create the forces that evolve into the great hurricanes.

"Bats synched together, all flapping their mouths . . ."

That is a very good, lively image.

Thank you so much for sharing. Witty. I did get a chuckle! Appreciate you!

Yes, butterfly was—you say speculation—however, I see it as something that is mathematically feasible within Chaos Theory. I must confess that when I first heard about Chaos theory from a PBS TV show, it hit as if the clouds opened and I saw the light that I had sensed intuitively. This and other things I’ve learned in math and physics have finally provided some validation for my thoughts.

As such and as a highly intuitive person I believe with my whole being that Trump and MAGA are a blight on this country. Unfortunately; it is IMO a self inflicted blight because as a society we still have not reconciled ourselves to the realty of our original sins. I could name many but one big one illustrates our sins: Slavery, Jim Crow and continued racism.

If Trump wins, the USA, Europe and the entire world will suffer through biblical level catastrophes. I’m trying to not live with pessimism or optimism, but watching. However, I will do what I can to help prevent by many actions like supporting fair and honest thinkers like you.

Thank you for your contributions.

Jim Sanders: Unfortunately, Armando is innumerate.

Mathematics mystifies me.

The Chaos Theory, so far as I understand it, is quite interesting. Intriguing. As is the String Theory with parallel universes.

Maybe in one of those parallel universes, Karma catches up with Trump, because it sure does not in this universe.

Europe is trying to "Trump-Proof" NATO. England just elected Keir Starmer. Japan and South Korea are increasingly working together to restrain China.

As bad as is Putin, at least it is Vladimir Putin and not the genocidal Joseph Stalin. The decade before my birth was horrific beyond anything before or since.

Indeed, I was five years old when Stalin died.

My first 24-years saw J. Edgar Hoover, who, in my view, was the worst threat ever, internally, to America, for his attempts to suppress the Civil Rights Movement and his threats to Dr Martin Luther King, which Hoover intended to lead to the suicide of that great man of peace and Civil Rights Leader.

Keep yourself strong by feeding your mind art, literature, and, if you have that ability, physics and mathematics.

Gotta go for now!

Thank you so much for sharing!

I pull back from politics sometime and reenergize by watching music videos and reactions of individuals that just blow my mind like Angelina Jordan, Pentatonix and will finish watching the Swedish National Orchestra doing “The Good, The bad and the ugly and then finish on the very uplifting Mob Video from Spain where a little girl puts a coin down in front of a frozen Bass player and he starts playing as other musician start wandering in on building the music of the glorious Beethoven’s Ode to Joy.

Got cut off. The glorious Beethoven “Ode To Joy.” I am reminded of the wonderment and beauty possible in humanity.

Jim Sanders: My love of Beethoven was one of the great sources for my longing, fulfilled, to learn the German language at an advanced level.

I love all of his music. I am old enough, that I listen to vintage recordings, as by the wonderful Soviet-era pianist, Emil Gilels, or by the great Artur Schnabel.

I love art, and a lot of my comfort is in work from Sandro Botticelli, or moderns like Braque or Kandinsky or the great, wonderful work of the late Elizabeth Murray (in the National Gallery, Washington, DC).

We have to root our spirits in what fills the soul -- literature, art, music, philosophy, and, for those that can, mathematics and physics.

And for frivolous fun, too. Very important.

Most important: Our time with loved ones, who must always know that we love them.

I read your comments, Jim Sanders, with great interest, and I believe we have kindred spirits.

I know you looked at it but reason it took so long is ,I have been having Tia s lately . So being on line has been a big problem . They hit my eyes first than arms and legs . Many call them mini strokes , but reality is they aren't . They can cause one or a major stroke , Which I had in 2017 , yet so far so good my friend .

Mitch: Whew! I hope you keep strong after that awful bout in 2017. Man, with those TIAs, take CARE of yourself. Please do take care of yourself and keep persons around who care, even love you.

You are an inspiration.
