Lorraine Evanoff, Somiah Nettles and brings "Victorian Voices" to life with her poetry and links to wonderful music.
OMG. Somiah Nettles can be HILARIOUS.
I just found this in Ms. Nettle's second posting about improving one's writing. Here is a gem that can be both true and induced me to spit out my coffee. I HAD to share it with my beautiful wife, Nancy.
Ready?! Here it is:
"II. FIND THE TIME: Did you know that it's medically proven that pooping can improve your mood?"
OMG! What preceded did not prepare me for this punch line!
Ms. Nettles makes good medical points there while keeping a sound sense of humor.
You yourself have given me so very much. Keep posted! Not only your Louise Moscow series, but your LoLo Report and posts . . . well, my own recommendations continue in my posts as mood or my Muse (or "the Spirit") moves me from time to time . . .
That’s the beauty of this community Armand. Despite the lack of moderators is seems we’re able to find truly high quality writers and thinkers like you and Nettles. It’s inspiring and uplifting. It improves the mood like a good poop!🥰💩😆
Lorraine Evanoff: I didn't even KNOW I had a "vagus nerve"! HA!
Little gems like "Josh Richman" . . . "I remember when my vagus nerve . . ." Oh, I think I'll leave that thought aside, because I am going to breakfast now.
Thanks for everything, including the reminder that "the beauty of this community" after my frustration.
It takes a community to raise a child . . . or a 76-year-old.
Ha! I just read her article and the article she linked. Yet another connection. I have this book in the bathroom 💩
“You can thank your vagus nerve for this oh-so-good feeling, according to Dr. Anish Sheth and Josh Richman, authors of the book, “What’s Your Poo Telling You.”
According to the authors, this feeling, which they call “poo-phoria,” occurs when your bowel movement stimulates the vagus nerve, which runs from your brainstem to your colon.”
Armand, thank you so so much! This means the world to me. Oh, how sweet you are. Though I must admit, it's peculiar hearing (reading) another person speak so highly of me; nonetheless, I appreciate it a ton! May God bless you. ❤️
Somiah Nettles: You EARN so much more that HIGH RECOGNITION should become an everyday, expected occurrence in your life. Stay strong; as such a young person and TALENT, you have your whole life ahead of you.
Magnificent! Thank you for sharing. The imagery is so vivid, but delivered so subtly. I love this! 👏👏👏👏
Susan Niemann: I agree totally that vividness and subtilty characterize the artistic gifts of the good, good Somiah Nettles. THANK YOU!
Thanks the recommendations Armand!
