I am excited about the future with a President who is youthful and promises to represent all of the People and to be inclusive of all.
Kamala Harris is a candidate that reminds me of the balmy candidacy of JFK, and I love where she is going.
No matter what happens, I will support Kamala Harris in 2028, as I did in the primaries in 2020.
Kamala Harris promises to bring folks across the aisle to the bargaining table.
Think of that!
Isn’t it wonderful to have a candidate who loves the great populace that vote against her, to have again a President who promises to represent all of the people!
The average Republican citizen, man or woman, is by and large a good person, who has a right to good, Wall-Street style Conservative leadership at the top.
So many of these good people are duped into accepting counterfeit coinage for the Republican Party.
Trump/Vance and certainly the Mad-Magazine, Alfred E. Neumann — “What me worry?!” — alias Speaker Mike Johnson — these are not authentic Republicans.
Authentic Republicans would be in the heritage of Everett Dirksen, an orator whom I remember quite vividly from the late ‘50s and early ‘60s.
Or an authentic Republican like George Romney, formerly GM, Governor of Michigan, who in the mid-’60s represented a fresh, moderate wing of the Party.
We want our Republican friends back with traditional, Wall-Street Conservative values.
These good persons are damned fun to spar with in well-reasoned political debates. And to drink coffee and eat cookies with, in fun, intellectual exercises over different solutions to economic realities.
The average Joe on the street deserves this kind of leadership from a Center-Right party.
As long as only one Party represents the core Democratic values, our Republic is one election away from mortal danger.
The long work ahead includes bringing back a Republican Party in which Liz Cheney and Jeff Flake are comfortable and main stream.
God, may we win on Tuesday! I want to win!
Kamala Harris is the best person to win with!
Kamala Harris has run a perfect campaign, and we deserve a President who speaks core values in common with all persons of good will in America, left or right, and who will represent all of us, and not demonize an opposition.
We have long, hard work for a long, long haul.
A well-fought victory for Kamala Harris on Tuesday is a damned good start!
“The average Republican citizen, man or woman, is by and large a good person, who has a right to good, Wall-Street style Conservative leadership at the top.”
Not trying to be argumentative but how do you know this?
I’m not sure I even know what a “good” person is but let’s say it would have the characteristic of compassion. If so, then my experience, living within 65 miles of the Mexican border is that the modal Republican I know and have met throughout my life may have compassion but this compassion is most often ONLY for those that look and think like them.
Based upon your experience you may have a generous opinion. I do not.
Just a memorable quote paraphrased from the Physicist/Philosopher Karl Popper stated: One does not show tolerance to those that want to kill you.
YES!
